Why Thousands Of UK Homeowners Are Canceling Their Ring Subscriptions For This £49 Security Camera

If you own a doorbell camera or are considering buying one, read this short article before you do anything else.

Walk down any UK street right now.

Count the Ring doorbells.

One, two, five, ten? They're everywhere...

And Ring is laughing all the way to the bank.

Because the more doorbells they sell, the more homeowners get locked into their £96-a-year "Subscription Trap."

But here's the "Dirty Secret" they don't tell you when you buy that £130 camera:

It’s effectively blind after 7:00 PM.

Sure, it records at night, motion alerts go off (Although sometimes delayed or mistakes a cat for a person).

But when you actually NEED the footage to catch a thief or identify a criminal.

All you get is "Blurry Shadows."

No faces. No details. No license plates.

Just grainy, black-and-white, useless blobs.

Met Police Sergeant Thomas Crawford sees this fake sense of security every week:

"People bring me their Ring footage with so much hope after something bad happens at thier home. They’ve paid hundreds for the camera and the monthly 'cloud storage.' And I have to tell them I'm sorry, we can’t use that to identify anyone."

9 times out of 10, infrared doorbell footage is too dark to make an arrest.

But Ring already has your money.

And will continue to bill you every month.

If you stop paying, it becomes useless.

That's why security experts, partnered with former police officers and built something 10x better without the fees.

It's called SafeView and it's taking the UK by storm.

Here's why it keeps selling out...

What Makes SafeView So Special?

Ring doorbells were designed for one thing:

Seeing who delivered your package at 2pm.

But when 73% of break-ins happen after dark — they FAIL when it matters the most.

Here's the problem Ring won't admit:

Their cameras use cheap infrared sensors that turn everything into grainy black-and-white shadows at night

No faces. No plates. No details.

Just grainy footage you’re paying a £8/month "Ransom" to access.

But SafeView solved all of these problems...

Full Colour Night Vision

It uses Starlight Sensors to amplify low light. This gives full color night vision even at 2AM. You can see faces and details that police can actually use to identify criminals. It records in 2K quality with 4x zoom.

Protects Your Entire Home (without extra costs)

Doorbell cameras only watch your front door. With SafeView, you can watch the front, back and even side with multiple cameras. They all connect to the free app so there's no extra fees the more you buy.

Hidden Out Of Sight

Unlike doorbells, it sits inside your window so it can't be damaged, touched or stolen. Burglars won't notice they're being recorded until it's too late.

Easy 5-Minute Setup

It's works in minutes. Simply peel, stick and connect to your WiFi. No drilling into walls, no tools needed and no complex setup.

NO Monthly Fees or Subscriptions

It saves everything onto a memory card that's included for free. So you actually own your footage instead of having to pay fees every month. Buy it once and it's yours.

The True Cost Of Big-Named Doorbells...

We've done the math and it's shocking..

After paying nearly £100 upfront for the doorbell you'd think that was it, right?

WRONG.

These companies trick innocent customers into a lifetime subscription.

Here's the ugly truth...

RING Doorbell Pro

- Camera: £129
- Subscription: £96/year
- Door Chime: £30
- 3-Year Total: £480

After 5 years: £
640

*Subscription price increased 43% in 2 years

SafeView Camera

- Camera: £49
- Memory Card: Free
- Subscription: £0
- 3-Year Total: £49

After 5 Years: £
49

SAVINGS: £591

But here's the real kicker...

Many customers purchase two SafeView cameras (for the front & back)

And the savings are still substantial.

Over 5 years you'll save: £561

You get better quality and more protection without the fees. It's no wonder so many have made the switch.

Has anyone got one of these? it says no monthly fees but surely you need cloud storage to actually view the footage? How does that work then? I've been stung by Ring's £10/month so genuinely curious if this is just marketing speak.

I was skeptical about the exact same thing! There's NO fees at all, it records straight onto a little SD card that it comes with.. I've had mine 3 months now and haven't paid a penny beyond the initial purchase. Cancelled my Ring subscription a week later

How long did it take to arrive? Also is it easy to set up or do I need to use a drill and tools?

Took about 7ish days for mine to come. Setup took me maybe 10 minutes. You literally just peel the backing off, stick it to your window, download the app and connect to WiFi. No drilling or tools needed.

Currently paying £96 a year for Ring and it's a scam! If you stop paying it's basically a fancy ornament. Will give this a try because I'm about done with doorbell cameras

Stupid question maybe but if it's stuck to the window won't the glass reflection ruin the footage? We've got double glazing and I'm worried it'll just record reflections of our living room instead of outside. Has anyone actually tested this or is it just theory?

Yeah it works perfectly fine through double glazing. No issues with my one. you can't even tell it's shot through glass. Just make sure the window is clean when you stick it on
